# score_files

Score files against the workspace's (and optionally a project's) output scoring rules.

Each rule is a studio's own standard — "does this read as our art direction?" — judged by a
vision model against the rule's prompt and reference images, returning 0-100 with a
rationale. Use list\_output\_scoring\_rules to see what a scope asks; use get\_file\_scores to
read the verdicts back.

Asynchronous and billed: returns as soon as the run is queued, and every (file, rule) pair
is a model call that spends creative units. Poll get\_file\_scores for the results — a large
request takes a few minutes. Scoring the same file again is allowed and appends a fresh
verdict rather than replacing the old one.

## Parameters

| Parameter | Type | Default | Description |
| --------------------- | ----------------- | ------- | --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| workspace\_idrequired | string (uuid) | — | The workspace the files belong to. |
| file\_idsrequired | string (uuid)\[\] | — | The files to score, at most 100 per request. Generated outputs and uploads both qualify, as long as they are images, video or 3D. |
| project\_id | string (uuid) | — | Score under a project's policy as well as the workspace's. A project's rules are added to its workspace's, never replace them. |
| rule\_ids | string (uuid)\[\] | \[\] | Score against these rules only, from list\_output\_scoring\_rules. Empty runs every rule in force for the scope. |
